The North Coast Youth Concert Band (NCYCB)

The North Coast Youth Concert Band (NCYCB) was developed to help provide music students with more opportunities to develop their talents outside of the school environment. Joining the band will give students the chance to play in a full size concert band while playing music carefully selected to inspire and challenge young minds. Rehearsals will be run in an effort to make the young player’s experience in the band inclusive and fun, while still challenging boundaries and helping them to grow their skills.

The band is for students aged 12-18, starting with a minimum standard of AMEB Grade 3 or equivalent. We’ll be rehearsing at the Statewide Services Centre, or the old Padbury Senior High School, on Tuesday nights from 6:30 – 8:30pm.

Applications close on the 31st of October, and applications and more information can be found on our website,
